Dutch Sand Lizards

Sand lizards (lacertids, I suspect) will be rounded up on the sand dunes near Noordwijk, to keep them from being disturbed while the coast is being reinforced. They will be "fenced in" at a new location while the work is done, and then allowed to return on their own. (Why does this seem like a strange idea?
