Oklahoma Snake Identified

As previously noted, the snake involved in the fatal shooting of an Oklahoma boy turned out to be a harmless rat snake. Some mention has been made of the rat snake's "similarity" to rattlesnakes and water moccasins, but while I'm sure the officers fully regret the situation, this is a very common species that shouldn't have been misidentified for a venomous species.
