Reptiles Released
Hundreds of live eels, frogs, and turtles (purchased at New York's Chinatown) were released by a sect of Buddhists into New Jersey's Passaic River. Apparently, no one has explained to them the ecological and zoonotic consequences of releasing non-native wildlife. (News source.)
