The consumption of can toads in Australia for human or petfood use sounds an excellent idea of curbing the cane toad menace. Their controlied collection (thus avoiding the accidental collection of unrelated species) and there processing and cooking may provide useful employment for a range of people.
I personally would like to purchase them for home consumption if I could be sure of their safety
